The Radhošť mountain (1,129 m) is located in the Beskidy mountains on the border between the Zlín and Moravian-Silesian (Ostrava) regions, east of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Vsetín district and south of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm in the Nový Jičín district. The mountain appears repeatedly in the legends and myths of the Czech literature. It bears the name of an ancient heathen god, Radhošť (in German: Radegast).
The wooden chapel of Cyril and Method was built in 1898 on the summit of mount Radhošť.
