Kasejovice is situated at an elevation of 543 m in the district Plzeň-jih in West Bohemia. Its first mention in a document dates from 1248. Already around 1350 it was mentioned as a town for the first time. Nevertheless, the official status as a town was granted to Kasejovice in 1878.
The parish church of St. Jacob [left] was built in Gothic style in the 13th century.
During the early 18th century it was remodelled in Baroque style. The church tower was heightened in 1868.
